Driftwould

April 7th, 2007 by Horrorwood

I recently came across the wonderful artist Matthew Feyld aka Driftwould. He seems to inhabit a world populated by bears, birds and trouserless humans involved in good humoured battles featuring lazer beams and mini-swords, all rendered in a beautiful retro-naive style.

He has a set of artwork viewable on Flickr and also a personal blog.

Flickr

Thanks for the tips. I have heard about the cat guy. For some reason I was investigating schizophrenia at some point and his painting vividly displayed what goes on in the brain as it goes haywire.
