Earlier I mentioned the design group Devilrobots and this time I would like to introduce what I think is one of their finest pieces of figure design so far – the Evirob and Enemy set.
Until now most of the incarnations of the Evirob characters have been as mini block toys, but this time they appear as large deluxe figures produced by Medicom Toys as part of their Vinyl Collectible Dolls series. This made me very happy as, as far as I’m concerned when it comes to toys the bigger the better.
The first thing that struck me when I got my sticky paws on this set was the wonderful packaging. The design is simple and striking and the toys look good even if left in the box. When I did open them up however I was not disappointed. Though the Evirob design has always been simplistic, the transition into a larger scale figure is impressive. Though still very simple the figures are most elegant in form and without wishing to sound pretentious could in my opinion be classed as ornaments.
この間紹介した、日本のデザイングループDevilrobots。
今回は彼らがデザインした最高級のフィギュア｢Evirob and Enemy」の2個セットを紹介したい（ショッピングチャンネル？！）。
今まで、Evirobフィギュアと言えば、殆どが小型のブロックおもちゃ（キューブリック）� った。
しかし、今回はMedicom Toys社のVinyl Collectible Dollsシリーズの大型フィギュアとして登場した。
僕にとってこれは凄く幸せなこと。なぜかというとおもちゃに関しては大は小を兼ねると思うから！！
とうとう手に入った。パッケージ自体が凄く印象的� った。パッケージデザインがシンプルで衝撃的。
フィギュアは箱のままでも十分格好よかった。しかし、開けて見たらさらに興奮しちゃった。今までEvirobシリーズはシンプルな形� が、スケールが大きくなっても格好よかったので安心した。
形はま� シンプルなん� けど、エレガント（？）な雰囲気も出す。言い過ぎかもしれないけど、この様なおもちゃはオブジェに近いと僕は思う。
