今回のGravity展のために用意した作品だけじゃ物足りなかったので、もう一枚描くことにした。
「森」という共通テーマで、この作品が生み出された。タイトルは「神」（仮名）。
作品の裏にある意図は、森の生き物などに崇拝されている神様。
もっと堂々としたモンスターを想像していたんだけど、相変わらず可愛いらしい奴になってしまった．．．
次からは、もっとえぐい作品を色々考えているので、この不足を埋め合わせをするぞ。

I was not wholly satisfied with the selection of work that I had lined up for the Gravity show and so decided to create one more new piece. Running with the whole forest theme, I came up with this piece, which I tentatively named “Deity”.

The idea behind the piece was a kind of forest god, protected and revered by the forest and its creatures. I had intended him to be a bit more imposing, but as ever he turned our looking pretty docile and friendly… Oh well, I have some more gruesome pieces in mind for the near future to make up for that.

Gravity展の第一弾では、僕のデザインを利用して、シンプルなプロダクトを作ることに挑戦した。その経験を通して色んな事を勉強出来た。
今回のプロダクトはエコ君のレターセット。
エコ君というキャラクターは熱心な『環境戦士』。だから、僕のプロダクトもこの気持ちを示さないとダメだと思って、再生紙を使用した。
２色のエコ君は、少し味のある再生紙に良く合っていて、このシンプルなデザインに結構満足している。

At the first Gravity show earlier this year I made an attempt at creating some simple products featuring my designs, and learnt a lot from the experience.
This time I settled on a single item - the Eco-kun writing set.
As my Eco-kun character is supposed to be an ardent eco-warrior, I realised that my product would have to reflect this, and so I made sure that my letter set was printed on recycled paper.
I am pleased with the simplicity of the design, and as I had hoped the 2-tone characters work well on the textured recycled paper.

Los Muertosを紹介します。
Gravity展の第2弾が決定してから、今までのキャラクター達と一味違うものを描こうと思っていて、その結果、この作品が出来上がりました。
イメージはメキシカン・ギャングのような感じで、それを人間離れというか、ゾンビの様な雰囲気にしてみた。
全員をA3の1枚の絵に入れ、次回の展示会で披露します。
僕にとって初のA４サイズ以上の作品です。

Introducing Los Muertos!
With the upcoming Gravity show in mind I decided that I wanted to create a more detailed take on my repeated character theme.
The result was these guys. The idea behind them was some kind of tattooed Mexican gang with a hint of the supernatural/undead.
I have put all of these together as an A3 piece that will be available at the show; the first　time that I have ever produced anything above A4!
