Black and White (白黒)

November 13th, 2007 by Horrorwood

After the Gravity show I decided that I wanted make some black and white designs suitable for screen printing, which I hope to learn how to do in the near future.

My idea was to come up with some detailed designs akin to the hand drawn illustrations that one can find on punk posters and the like.

I am satisfied with my first efforts, though they ended up being a lot simpler that I had intended, and are also more cartoony than the hardcore punk image I had envisaged.

I have always enjoyed the challenge of making interesting designs using only black and white, so I think I will continue for a while to see what I can produce using this aesthetic.
