前にもブログで紹介したShin Tanakaがまた新しいペーパー・クラフト・シリーズ「Spiky Baby　Deluxe」をリリースした。今回は色んな有名な人気アーティストが参加している。

全てのデザインは前と同じく無料でダウンロードできる上に、クリックすればランダムに出ってくるからメチャ楽しい。全部で何個あるかまだ確認出来ていない。なぜかというと、これで最後かな～と思っても違うヤツが現れる！

一番好きなデザインの2つは、前紹介したアーティスト/フィギュアデザイナーT9GとTOUMAがデザインしたもの。ところで、この2つのデザインは何回クリックしてもなかなか出て来なかったので、あきらめずに頑張ってね！

他にもカスタマイズできるペーパークラフトもあるので、何時間でも楽しめると思う。

A while back I wrote about Shin Tanaka and his wonderful paper toys.
Shin has just released a news series called “Spiky Baby Deluxe“,with designs by a multitude of popular artists.

The best thing about these paper toys is that not only are they free to download, but the whole experience is made more enjoyable by the fact that you don’t know which paper toy you will get until you click on the link. I am still not sure how many of these toys there are in total, but every time I thought I had found the last one, a new one would appear.

2 of my favourite designs are by the artists/toy creators T9G and Touma, who I have previously mentioned on my blog. Their designs can be seen below. Incidentally, these 2 designs seemed to appear the least, so don’t give up when you’re clicking.

Shin also has a number of customizable paper toy templates available for download on request, which allows for even more hours of fun.

去年、僕の知り合いのハマさんから高松市内にレストランを開くことに決めたと聞かされた。
なんと、運良くその場所は僕の家から歩いて3分の所になった。
この数ヶ月間、僕達は殆ど毎日ストーカーのように、ハマさんの店の前を通って、様子をチェックした。
何も無い状態から、素敵なレストランへの変身を見て来た。電気からインテリアまで、ハマさんと彼の仲間が全部作って、ビックリする位プロフェッショナル！

洋食屋「ＢＯＳＣＡ」は先週開店した。お祝いに僕は上のイラストを描いた。
早速家族で食べに行って、いくつかのメニューを楽しんだ。
ハマさんは以前多度津でお店をしていて、オムライスがとても有名で週末は行列ができていたらしい。
そのオムライスは新店でも超目玉商品だ。相変わらずメチャクチャおいしかった。
値段もお手ごろで、大食いの方でも満足できると思う。

At the end of last year, an aquaintance of mine Hama-san decided to open a small　restaurant in Takamatsu, and to our delight we discovered that he had chosen to rent a shop literally 3 minutes walk from our house.

Over the last few months we did almost daily “walk-bys” to see how the shop was progressing. We watched as Hama-san and a few helpers transformed a very plain shop interior into a cosy restaurant. Everything was done without outside help; from the lighting to the plumping etc.

Hama-san’s new restaurant “Bosca” officially opened last week, and in celebration I decided to do an illustration for the shop (see above).

Details for the shop can also be found above. We have already sampled a few dishes off the menu and can heartily recommend Bosca for tasty and very reasonable food and a good selection of drinks. Big eaters will also not be disappointed. Hama-san’s Omu-Rice was famous at his last restaurant, drawing crowds from around the prefecture, and thankfully he has kept that at the top of the menu.

この2年間、殆ど全部の作品はＰＣで描いたので、正月に再びスケッチを始めようと決めた。2ページ程度しか描かなかったけど、いいスタートだった。
今回のテーマは「ロック・スカル」で、Ｔシャツに使える様なデザインを作りたかった。

そのスケッチをスキャンして、ＰＣで加工して見た。
なんだか、高校生が授業中にノートに描いた絵みたいになったけど、その雰囲気が結構好きかも．．．

Over the New Year I decided to start sketching again, as I have been doing all of my work on the computer for the last couple of years. I only got as far as a few pages but it was a good start. My theme this time was “rock skulls” and I wanted to create something that I could possibly put on a t-shirt.

I scanned my sketches in, tidied them up and added a touch of colour. The result is a bit like something from　the margins of a teenager’s notebook, but I quite like that feel.

最近描いたキャラクターの中、先月ＵＰしたちっちゃい「スペース・ロード」がかなり気に入った。なので、そのキャラクターをリミックスしてみた。結果は上の作品。

One of my favourite characters of late is the little “space lord” that I revealed last month.　As such, I decided to do a bit of a remix and came up with the above piece featuring several different incarnations of this character.
