Rock Skulls ロック スカル

この2年間、殆ど全部の作品はＰＣで描いたので、正月に再びスケッチを始めようと決めた。2ページ程度しか描かなかったけど、いいスタートだった。
今回のテーマは「ロック・スカル」で、Ｔシャツに使える様なデザインを作りたかった。
そのスケッチをスキャンして、ＰＣで加工して見た。
なんだか、高校生が授業中にノートに描いた絵みたいになったけど、その雰囲気が結構好きかも．．．
Over the New Year I decided to start sketching again, as I have been doing all of my work on the computer for the last couple of years. I only got as far as a few pages but it was a good start. My theme this time was “rock skulls” and I wanted to create something that I could possibly put on a t-shirt.
I scanned my sketches in, tidied them up and added a touch of colour. The result is a bit like something from the margins of a teenager’s notebook, but I quite like that feel.

You’ve gotta break away from the computer sometimes - keeps the work real.
I want to get some shirts but my emails keep getting bounced back.

Thanks for the comment Eric. Not quite on your level on skull mastery yet unfortunately… almost forgotten how to put pencil to paper.
Sorry to hear you had trouble getting through to me, I think the trouble with my mail has been fixed now though.
As for shirts, I’m afraid they’re all gone… However, I am thinking of producing some hand printed shirts for this Spring/Summer of a more hardcore nature. That green-haired “rock skull” may well make an appearance, so I will keep you informed. As I am planning on doing all the shirts myself this time, the price should be a lot more reasonable too.
