• Spawn

  長い間、本格的な「アクション・フィギュア」を買っていない。最近は大人コレクター向けのいわゆる「デザイナーズフィギュア」ばかり。だけど、この間アクション・フィギュアの世界に再び戻っちゃった。きかけは有名アメコミ「スポーン」の新シリーズ、「The Adventures of Spawn」。 実は昔スポーンが好きだったけど、最近あまり興味ない。なぜかと言うとMcFarlaneの他のフィギュアと同様、スポーンのフィギュアはたいてい細かすぎて、そのせいで見た目はちょっときたないと思う。だけど、「The Adventures of Spawn」のシリーズにはMcFarlaneはもっとスムーズで漫画チックなものを作った。 今回登場するヤツは殆どスポーンの定番キャラクターで、このキャラクターを新しくリミックスしたって感じ。僕の一番好きなキャラクターは相も変わらず「The Creech」。 フィギュアと共に、ウェッブ上で無料で読めるコミックもあるので、見てみて下さい。 For a long time I have not bought what I would call a real “action figure” and have focused more on so-called “designer figures”. • Toro Oscuro

  ７月のペーパークラフトを紹介します。 もっとホラーっぽいものを作ると言ったものの、結局あまりホラーぽくなくなっちゃいました。 今回のテーマはびびっているマタドール（闘牛士）と、ちっちゃいわりに恐ろしい闘牛。 より細かいクラフトを作りたくて（牛の角の部分など）、マタドールの基本の箱の形をちょっとアレンジしてパワーアップしてみました。 タイトルは「Toro Oscuro」。スペイン語のつもりだけど、実は喋れないので、間違っていたらすみません（一応ネットで色々研究しました…） ここかクラフトのテンプレートをクリックしたら、ダウンロード出来ます。 Here is my paper toy for July. • Shodoshima alive and well

  お盆休みは妻のNaokoのおばあちゃんの住む小豆島に毎年行きます。 そして、小豆島町にあるフォレスト酒蔵森國ギャラリーへお茶をしに行って来ました。 森國酒造は小豆島で唯一の酒造で、Umie、 ドラゴンファクトリーのプロデュースのもと、最近ギャラリー兼カフェをオープンした注目スポットらしく、行きたいなぁと思っていました。 ラッキーなことにNaokoのおじいちゃんの家の近所。 ギャラリーは小民家風で落ち着ける感じで、いい感じ。気に入りました。 2階も見れるらしく、上がっていくとそこには可愛いバッグと妖怪の絵が！ バッグは小豆島出身のYuccoさんのブランドThingsのもの。 お盆の間のみの特別展『心具素ワゴコロ展其の弐』をされていました。 ThingsのバッグはNaokoが前に新聞で読んで、気になっていたのに、展示会を見逃してしまったブランドでした。 ホームページまでチェックしてたNaokoはすぐに分かったらしい。 皮を使用した、ハンドメイドの素敵なバッグ。 デザインがおもしろい。クオリティも凄い！ Yuccoさんは小豆島の土庄町にアトリエがあるそうです。 また高松市にあるQuench Cafeで展示会をするらしいので、見逃せません。 Naokoはお金持ちになったらThingsのバッグをいっぱい買いたいと妄想していました･･･。 Every year over the Obon holiday we visit Naoko’s relatives on the beautiful Shodo island.
