Just made it in time with my papercraft for August - “A Bad Dream on Birch Street”.
This is my first truly horror themed toy and is taken from an illustration that I did a few months ago (see below).
I was pleased to find that it made a pretty smooth transition into 3D form.

8月分のペーパークラフトがギリギリ間に合った。タイトルは「バーチ街の悪夢」。
今回は初めて本当にホラーをテーマにしているクラフトが出来た。
ちょっと前に描いたイラスト（以下）をベースにして、以外とスムーズに２Ｄから３Ｄに変身出来た。

ホラーウッドの最新のＴシャツを紹介します。今回の「Meat Bear」（肉好きな熊）が登場します。
このキャラクターは昔何回もスケッチしたことあるので、復活させようと思った。

今回は初めて２色のプリントに挑戦した。簡単に見えるかもしれないけど、そのハート部分をきれいに合わせるのは意外と難しかった。
なので、もっと複雑なプリントを作る時は事前に色々考えないとだめと思った。

このデザインは白とグレイのベースにプリントして、ハートの色は３つの違う色にしてみた。

Here is my latest T-Shirt design featuring my character “Meat Bear”.
I have sketched a similar looking character many times in the past and decided to bring him back.

This was my first attempt at printing with more than one colour. Though it looks simple, lining up the heart was quite a challenge, so I will have to think carefully before trying any more complex prints.

The shirt is available on white or grey and there is a variety of heart colours.

これは僕の最新のイラストです。タイトルは「Widow of the Woods」（森の未亡人）。
最初はロックポスターの様なイラストを描くつもりだったけど、最終的にアールヌーボー本の図版みたいなものになった。
でも、この結果には満足している。自然な要素を色々入れたくて、綺麗で装飾的なデザインを作りたかった。

Here is my latest illustration entitled “Widow of the Woods”.
I had intended this one to be more like a rock poster, but it ended up looking a bit like an Art Nouveau book plate. I am however pleased with the look. I wanted to include a lot of natural elements and make the piece very clean and decorative in style.

Here is a video interview with my favourite artist and toy designer James Jarvis.
The interview provides an insight into James’s techniques, as well as his philosophy on art in general.
We also get a good look at James’s studio and sneak peeks at some rare sketches and toys.

「The Art of Gravity」展、第三弾を一年ぶりに開催します！
10月13日～19日に開催する予定で、メンバーは前回と殆ど一緒（メンバーの人数だけが変わって、今回は7人になる）。
フライヤーとポスターのデザインが出来たのでここで紹介します。アーティストの詳しいプロフィールなどはホームページへ。
展示会のジャンルがあいかわらず幅広くて、絵、写真、彫刻、シルバー、かばん、等等。
僕はイラストやＴシャツ、小物などを展示する予定です。
10月に高松にいらしゃったら、是非来て見てください。

After a year’s hiatus The Art of Gravity group show will return this October from the 13th to the 19th.
Most of the details are the same as before, except for the number of artists participating (this time 7).
The flyers and the posters are done and are presented here and more details can be found on the homepage.
There will be painting, photography, sculpture, silver work, bags and a lot more.
I myself will be displaying illustrations along with some t-shirts and other products.
