The Shadows

Here is an illustration that I completed a few weeks ago called “The Shadows”.
Again I wanted to create a larger scale and more detailed piece.
In the end I decided to give it a slightly Japanese look reminiscent of old ghost pictures and added some stamps in the corner to emphasize the point.
2週間ぐらい前に完成したイラスト「The Shadows」(死の影)を紹介します。
今回ももっと細かくてスケールの大きい作品を作りたかった。
最終的に日本風な（霊を描いた昔の水墨画のような）イメージにして、これを強調するために最後にホラーウッドのはんこもつけてみた。

damn, that looks even better than the last time I saw it. A fantastic piece if I do say so myself. I think the jump to slightly large scale pieces is certainly a good thing. Also, I like the multiple characters. Much more dynamic!!

Thanks. Yeah, it would seem that the key to producing better work is to actually spend more than a few hours on a piece… only took me til now to figure it out.
