I just received the second entry for my “Calling All Cars” project.
This wonderful little creation is from French artist Jerom, whose papercraft will also be included in the Urban Paper book.
I love Jerom’s illustrative style and this zombie fits in perfectly with the whole Horrorwood aesthetic.
Again this design will be made available for download once I receive a few more entries.

「Calling All Cars」の第2の参加者が登場！
今回はフランスのアーティストJeromさんより、素晴らしいゾンビを頂いた。
Jeromのペーパークラフトも「Urban Paper」の本にフィーチャーされる。
個人的にJeromのイラストのタッチが凄く好きで、ゾンビというキャラクターはHorrorwoodのテーマともちろんぴったり！
もう少し他のデザインを頂いてから、このクラフトを無料ダウンロードできるようします。

Here is the first custom that I received for my Calling All Cars project, and a wonderful one it is too.
Very fittingly it is from the main man himself Matt Hawkins.
Matt demonstrates his wacky trademark style here, with a lovely ice-cream colour scheme and an inspired twist on my original design with 2 drivers instead of one.
The addition of the little Urban Paper book rounds the whole thing off perfectly.

This toy will be made available for download once I receive a few more designs.
Hopefully this will act as inspiration (and incentive) for other artists out there to take part in the project.

「Calling All Cars」プロジェクトの初カスタムを頂きました。
ご覧の通り、最高にいいデザインです！
1番目にふさわしく、Urban Paperの編集者Matt Hawkinsさんの作品です。
Mattさんはトレードマークのユーモラスなスタイルやキャンデーカラーを利用した。
僕の基本のデザインを上手に工夫をこらして、二匹のキャラクターを車に乗せている。
さらに、くまさんはちっちゃいUrban Paperの本を持っている！

他のデザインをもう少し頂いたら、このクラフトを無料ダウンロードできるようにします。
このデザインを見て、他のアーティスト達を刺激させる（やる気を起こさせる？）ことになればいいなと思った。

In celebration of the release of Matt Hawkins’ book “Urban Paper” that will be released next month, I have started a new project called “Calling All Cars”. I am currently recruiting artists to customize my paper toy “Go Bananas” that will be featured in the book.

All comers are welcome and once I have enough designs I will make them available for free download, and there is also the possibility of an exhibition in the future.

Matt Hawkins also recently sent word that he had received a preview copy of the book and pictures of the real deal can be seen below. Here also is a link to a short video previewing the contents.

It was great to see the book and know that its release is getting ever nearer (plus I was pretty pumped to discover that my design is featured on the back cover).

来月リリースされるペーパークラフトの本「Urban Paper」の記念として、新プロジェクトを始めた。
プロジェクト名は「Calling All Cars」。
本にフィーチャーされている、僕のクラフト「Go Bananas」を世界の色んなアーティストにカスタマイズしてもらいたい。
参加は自由で、デザインが十分に集まったら、いつもと同様にサイトで無料ダウンロードできるようにする予定。
将来的には「Calling All Cars」のクラフトで展示会ができればいいなと思っている。

I feel that the first series may have been a little inaccessible, so this time I went with my more usual illustrative style and more pop designs.

As I mentioned before, the next series will be a guest artist series and will be released at the end of March.
