Here at last are the next three entries to the Calling All Cars race.
First up is a delightful design by Dolly Oblong, with an incredibly innovative reworking of the original shape.
Dolly is well known for her plush work and she has recreated this feel to perfection with her car.
Next up is a dapper little demon from Macula. I have long been a fan of Macula’s character work and the use of colour etc. here is charming. The finished piece actually has an alternative (more evil) face, but you’ll have to wait for the download to see it.
Last but not least is a highly imaginative sea critter from Matthew Gilpin (below). The idea of transforming the car into an octopus is inspired. Strangely enough I have actually received 2 nautical-themed cars so far, and I’ll post about the other one soon.
I have been overwhelmed (literally) by the response to my request for customs, but will try my best to catch up with my backlog on this project soon.

Also Matt Hawkins’ Urban Paper book finally went on sale last week. I received a few copies and have to say it is a very fine volume indeed. Great fun for young and old alike and of course highly recommended. Thanks again to Matt for all his hard work on this project.
お待たせしました。Calling All Carsの新たな３台を紹介します。
最初はDolly Oblongのとてもラブリーなデザイン。イマジネーションに溢れているデザインで、原型を上手いこと変身させている。
Dollyは可愛いぬいぐるみでよく知られていて、同じ様なソフトな雰囲気をこのカスタムでだしている。
次はMaculaによるこぎれいな悪魔。僕は昔からMaculaのキャラクターデザインが好きで、このカスタムの色使いなどは凄くいいと思う。
完成品にはもっと悪そうな予備の顔も付いていて、またサイトにアップするので楽しみにしてください。
最後にはMatthew Gilpinの想像力豊かな海の怪物（以下）。車を蛸に変身させるアイディアは天才的！
不思議なことに海をテーマにしているデザインをもう一つ頂いているので、そちらも近々アップします。
いままで頂いたカスタムの数に色んな意味で圧倒されている。今週このプロジェクトの遅れを取り戻す予定。

先週Matt Hawkinsの「Urban Paper」の本が発売されて、とうとう自分の手にすることが出来た。
自分でいうものなんですが、立派な一冊になっています。子供から年寄りまでおすすめします。
