An anthropomorphic space series based around the adventures of QUAX, the duck captain of the spaceship S.S. Tailfeather. As is usual for cartoon "animals" he wears nothing below his ammo belt in spite of his human characteristics. Brave and fearless to the end but with a stupid quacking voice, Quax is accompanied by 2 comrades:
Calcu-Gator - a lively Alligator who has been spliced with technology meaning that he has a computer imbedded in his chest. Clumsy and full of boisterous jokes, he none the less regularly saves the day with his calculations.
Trunkles - an alarmingly cute and camp alien elephant. Alien elements only visible in the fact that he is slightly the wrong colour for an "Earth" elephant. Trumpets and flees in terror at the slightest sign of danger but aids his buddies due to his sheer bulk and can often be found at the end of an episode sitting on an enemy.
The crew of the Tailfeather face a fearsome enemy in the form of GrindRod - a huge wild space boar with a laser eye attachment and large belt of grenades. GrindRod captains the rival ship "Man O'Boar". The Man O'Boar goes about bullying defenseless planets and causing pollution and the like, which Quax and the gang put a stop to in every episode. GrindRod is accompanied by T. Bull Tennis, a huge dumb space bull who snorts and charges around a lot.
GrindRod's ship will often explode at the end of an episode leaving him high and dry on a passing meteroite only to be back in action the next time.
